Our Goals

What this conference is for

Three commitments that anchor everything we do.

01

Place Syrian students at the center.

The conference exists, first and foremost, for Syrian students — inside the country and in displacement. By connecting them directly with leading Syrian scientists and academics, we seek to replace doubt with confidence and to demonstrate, through living example, that the path from a Syrian classroom to the highest levels of scholarship is real and attainable.

02

Turn diaspora goodwill into lasting channels of support.

Thousands of Syrian academics abroad are ready to give. The conference works to convert this goodwill into organized and enduring channels — mentorship, co-supervision, open lectures, and academic collaboration — so that the support reaching the next student is a dependable system rather than a passing gesture.

03

Deliver tangible outcomes, this year.

The conference is measured by what it leaves behind. We are committed to producing concrete results within the event itself: direct support to students inside Syria — fully funded and publicly accounted for — a published recommendations document, and standing working groups to carry the work forward.

The conference arc

Day 1 — Friday

From a Syrian Classroom to the Frontier

Where Syrian higher education stands today, and the proof that the road from a Syrian classroom to the world's leading institutions is real and walkable. Keynotes from Syrian scientists at the frontier of their fields, the first student stage of the conference, and an expert forum on turning diaspora goodwill into lasting channels — closing with regional networking rooms.

Day 2 — Saturday

Rebuilding from Within & The Student Stage

Building institutions, research, and ventures from inside the academy — and the conference's concrete output. Keynotes on rebuilding from within, hands-on workshops, a forum linking universities with industry and innovation, the student symposium, the Best Syrian Faculty Award, and the recommendations document with open working-group sign-up.
